At Dreamforce 2026, Salesforce launched Agentforce Coworker, job-ready agents, long-horizon agents and Koa, its first CRM reasoning model, plus Slackforce features in Slack. What shipped, what is still in pilot, and what it means for reliability.
Dreamforce 2026 ran from 15 to 17 September in San Francisco. Salesforce later summed up the week as "21 things we announced". Almost all of them are about Agentforce, its AI agent platform, and about Slack as the place where people work with those agents.
Below are the launches that matter most, grouped by theme, with the availability Salesforce gave for each. A lot of this is still in pilot or beta, so the status column matters as much as the feature.
| Launch | What Salesforce says it does | Availability (per Salesforce) |
|---|---|---|
| Agentforce Coworker | An "autonomous AI teammate built directly into Salesforce" that completes multi-step tasks and brings people in when judgement is needed | Generally available |
| Job-ready agents | Pre-built agents for specific roles, such as Piper for inbound pipeline, Fin for customer service and Hunter for outbound sales | Most GA now; Hunter GA in November |
| Long-horizon agents | Agents that "pursue a goal over days, weeks or even months" | Pilot now; GA November 2026 |
| Koa | Salesforce's first CRM reasoning model, built on NVIDIA Nemotron | Select pilots now; GA expected winter 2026 in US regions |
| AI Skills | Reusable, governed instructions any agent can run | Pilot; GA October |
| Agent Optimizer | An agent that builds and refines other agents | GA October |
| Agentforce Voice languages | Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Japanese and Canadian French | GA |
Koa was announced on 15 September. Salesforce says it was trained on synthetic data drawn from 27 years of CRM deployments across more than 14 industries. It is built for multi-step work such as qualifying opportunities and resolving cases, and customer data stays inside Salesforce's trust boundary. Salesforce claims that on its own CRM benchmark Koa "matches or exceeds leading model performance on CRM actions with three times fewer errors". That is a vendor benchmark, not an independent one.
Koa runs alongside third-party models rather than replacing them. On 26 August Salesforce and Anthropic announced Claudeforce, which puts Claude inside Agentforce and puts Salesforce inside Claude through a plugin with 37 prebuilt sales skills. At Dreamforce, Salesforce grouped Claudeforce (beta), Slackforce and Coworker under a new umbrella name, AIforce.
One of the job-ready agents is Fin, the customer-service agent from the company formerly called Intercom. Salesforce completed that acquisition on 10 September, five days before Dreamforce opened. Fin is now part of the Agentforce line-up, and Fin's existing customers keep using it as before. Intercom's status is monitored separately.
Slack published its own Dreamforce announcements on 15 September. Here is what is live and what is not, according to Slack:
Salesforce's Dreamforce summary lists Slackforce as reaching general availability in October. Combined with the Claudeforce news that Claude is now Slack's default AI model, Slack is becoming the main front end for Salesforce's AI rather than just a chat app that sits next to the CRM.
Several launches are about keeping agents healthy in production, which matters more as they take real actions:
These tools watch agents inside Salesforce. They cannot help if the platform itself is unreachable, and that happened during the conference. On 16 September, the second day of Dreamforce, a global outage tied to an internal login service disrupted access across instances in every region.
