Vercel says operational but it is not working for me

A build that fails on Vercel but works locally is almost always your build, not theirs — check the build log for the actual error before assuming an incident. Functions timing out at the platform limit, hitting a memory ceiling, or failing on a missing environment variable all return platform-looking errors. If only your custom domain is broken while the `.vercel.app` URL works, the problem is DNS or your certificate.
